NBA 2K25 Revealed: Dual NBA and WNBA Cover Stars and Major Enhancements

2K Sports has officially unveiled NBA 2K25, marking a significant moment with the inclusion of both NBA and WNBA athletes on the cover of its All-Star Edition. This year, Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum and Las Vegas Aces’ A'ja Wilson share the spotlight, making history in the franchise. The All-Star Edition is priced at $100 USD.

For the standard edition, Tatum will take center stage, available for $70 ($60 on Switch), while Wilson graces the WNBA edition, priced at $70 and exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This WNBA edition is a GameStop exclusive and only available in North America. Fans can already preorder their preferred versions.

The Hall of Fame edition, featuring Vince Carter, is priced at $150 and will be on sale until September 8, excluding the Switch platform. All versions are set to release on September 6 across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

One of the most anticipated changes is the upgraded PC version, which will now be on par with the next-gen consoles, addressing years of fan requests. NBA 2K25 introduces ProPlayTM technology, promising a more authentic basketball experience. Familiar modes like MyCareer and MyTeam return, with new-generation consoles also receiving enhancements like a revamped City social hub and an additional era in MyNBA.
