Wednesday of Holy Week
The Bible doesn’t way what the Lord did on the Wednesday of Passion Week. Scholars speculate that after two exhausting days in Jerusalem Jesus and his disciples spent this day resting in Bethany in anticipation of Passover. Just a short time previously, Jesus had revealed to the disciples, and the world, that He had power over death by raising Lazarus from the grave. Also, in Bethany just a few nights earlier, Lazarus’ sister Mary, had lovingly anointed the feet of Jesus with expensive perfume. It is sometimes called “Spy Wednesday” as the day Judas agreed to betray Christ with a kiss.

Tuesday of Holy Week
On Tuesday of Holy Week Jesus was teaching in the temple. The Pharisees and chief priests confronted Jesus about marriage in heaven, taxes to Ceasar and challenged the source of His authority. In the evening, He went to the Mount of Olives with Peter, James, John and Andrew and gave what is now known as the Olivet Discourse, a sweeping overview of the future from the destruction of Jerusalem I AD 70 to His Own return at the end of the Tribulation. Jesus concluded by urging His disciples to “stay awake. For you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.” (Matt. 24:42) Jesus’ point is clear—prophecy is designed to change our hearts not simply fill our heads with facts about the future. The Son of Man is coming back to judge sinners and reward the faithful. Be ready for His return.
The tumultuous events of Tuesday and the Olivet Discourse are recorded in Matthew 21:23-23:51,
Mark 11:20-13:37, Luke 20:1-2:-36 and John 12:20-38.

Monday of Holy Week
Commemorate the events that occurred during Jesus’ journey into Jerusalem: the cursing the fig tree, which represented God’s judgement on the spiritually dead religious leaders of Israel, the question of His authority, and the Cleansing of the Temple from corrupt money changers.
Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”

Showers
It’s April. Again, the blackbirds sing in spring; the streams awake, laughing, flowing from their winter frozen dreams, then tremble in the April showers at the sweet scent of the coming May flowers.
I will make them and the places all around
My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers
to come down in their season;
there shall be showers of blessing. (oh that on me they might fall!)

Loved
Be all the things you loved the most about the people who are no longer with you and you will become the person you were intended to be
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Patience
Leo Tolstoy once said, two most powerful warriors are patience and time. Patience isn’t so much about how long you can wait, but more about the attitude you have while waiting to be who you need to be.
But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.

Desires
What God does in us as we wait is often more important than what we are waiting for. He is waiting for us to live the life you know He wants for you, in order to prepare you to enjoy when He gives you what your heart desires.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

If you want something bad enough, you absolutely never give up trying—yet be humble enough to take a boost from a friend when sincerely offered - which can make all the difference.
So, He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
